Module 1: Who Am I? The Self as Raw Material

Welcome to Week 1. This whole course circles one question: when something has value, do we find value that was already there, unearth value that was buried, or create value out of nothing? You do not need an answer yet. This week we start where every venture actually starts, with you. Before you can decide what is worth building, it helps to take an honest inventory of who is doing the building. That inventory is your raw material.

Here is the Seminar's central question, aimed at you this week: do we find, unearth, or create value? Approached from the self, it becomes a sharper question: what do I already carry (experiences, skills, communities, frustrations) that lets me see value other people walk past? Hold the question loosely. You will answer it three more times this semester, each time from a new angle.

By Sunday you will have three things: a completed CEO exercise (a structured self-inventory), a first draft of your "why" (one honest paragraph on what moves you), and an organized first agent repo and project repo on your own machine, ready for the work ahead.

You reach this course when three things are true. First, you have a ProvenanceAI account and you are signed in. Second, you hold an active ProvenanceAI Studio / Suite Spot subscription (the same subscription that unlocks Studio on the platform). Third, you redeem the course access code your instructor gave your section on the enrollment screen. All three are required; none of them alone unlocks the gated weeks. Module 00 is free and open, so you can always see where the week is going before anything is gated.
