AI Native Venture Creation — Setup Guide
AI Native Venture Creation is a four-module course that teaches you to use AI as a genuine business collaborator. You will define a venture idea, test it with a named AI advisor, build your own venture agent, and sketch the AI team your business will need over the next ninety days. The whole course runs 90 to 115 minutes. You can pause and return at any point.
Do not have a code? Contact your program coordinator or email courses@provenanceai.app.
Most of this course runs on the built-in course chat, which needs no install and captures your conversations automatically. Install the extension if you would rather work in your own ChatGPT or Claude account for more model flexibility. The ProvenanceAI browser extension captures those external AI conversations so you can build a record of how your venture decisions were made. Module 1 walks you through the full setup. Here is the short version:
On a locked-down school or work computer where the Chrome Web Store is blocked, see the manual install option inside Module 1 instead.
Modules unlock in sequence. Each module ends with a five-question quiz. A score of four out of five or higher earns your badge and unlocks the next module.
Your personal tracking dashboard is at provenanceai.app/tracker. After you complete the tracking handshake in Module 1 and capture your first conversation, you will see:
The built-in course chat works on any device with no install. This section only applies if you want to use your own AI account on a browser the extension does not support. The browser extension only works on desktop Chrome, Edge, and Brave. If you are on Safari, Firefox, or a mobile device and still want to capture an external AI account, use the ProvenanceAI bookmarklet instead. It captures the same conversation data and feeds it into your tracking dashboard.
Tip: If dragging does not work, copy the bookmarklet code, create a new bookmark manually, and paste the code into the URL/address field of the bookmark.
The built-in course chat needs no account and is the default for this course. If you would rather use your own AI account for more model flexibility, you do not need a paid one. Anthropic offers a free tier of Claude at claude.ai that works well with the agent files and prompts in Modules 2 and 3.
Make sure you are on the ChatGPT or Claude tab when the conversation finishes. Refresh the course page, then check the Captured Conversations panel. If nothing appears after two minutes, try the manual paste option inside the tracking panel.
Make sure you are signed into Chrome, Edge, or Brave (not an Incognito/Guest window) and that your school or workplace has not blocked the Chrome Web Store. If it is blocked, use the manual install option inside Module 1 instead.
You need at least 4 out of 5 correct answers to earn the badge. If you passed and the next module is still locked, return to the course overview and refresh the page. The badge check runs automatically when you open a module.
The extension and bookmarklet are designed for desktop browsers. For the best experience, complete the course on a laptop or desktop. If desktop access is not possible, you can still read the modules and paste conversation text manually using the tracking panel.
Make sure you are on a ChatGPT or Claude conversation page and that the page is fully loaded. Some browsers strip JavaScript from bookmarks for security reasons. If that happens, use the manual paste option in the course tracking panel instead.
No. The built-in course chat needs no install and captures your work automatically. The browser extension and the instructions for using your own ChatGPT or Claude account are optional, for students who want more model flexibility.
No. Free tiers of ChatGPT and Claude are sufficient for all four modules.
Yes. Your progress is saved automatically. Return to the course page and sign in to resume where you left off.
Only you and program staff with OVERSIGHT or ADMIN permissions in your enrolled cohort. Captures are not shared with third parties and are not used to train AI models.
Use the built-in course chat. It needs no install and works the same on a locked-down computer. If you specifically want to capture an external AI account without installing anything, use the manual paste option in the tracking panel instead. You can copy any AI conversation and paste the prompt and response directly into the course. It counts the same as an extension capture.
Your instructor or program coordinator will provide the access code. If you do not have one, email courses@provenanceai.app.
If you get stuck at any point, contact your program coordinator. For technical issues with the platform, the extension, or your account, email exactrushllc@gmail.com.
Students enroll using an institutional access code. The code for this cohort is set at the platform level and grants free, immediate access to all four modules. Codes are case-insensitive. Students do not need a credit card.
To request a new code, modify enrollment settings, or add additional cohorts, contact the ProvenanceAI platform administrator at courses@provenanceai.app.
The Learning Studio Admin dashboard is at provenanceai.app/learning-studio-admin. Log in with your admin credentials to see:
The cohort-level tracking view is at provenanceai.app/tracker. With OVERSIGHT or ADMIN permissions, you will see:
This course is aligned to the Business-Higher Education Forum (BHEF) AI-Enabled Professional framework. Evidence of each competency is inferred from student lab responses and captured AI conversations across Modules 1, 2, and 3. The seven domains are:
This pilot cohort includes pre-seeded synthetic student accounts used for testing and demonstration. All synthetic accounts include (Synthetic) in the display name and use email addresses ending in @synthetic.charteroak.pilot. Exclude these accounts from any summative analysis of real student performance. They are visible in the admin dashboard and tracker and are safe to review as demonstration data.
Captured AI conversations are stored in ProvenanceAI's tracking system and are visible only to the enrolled student and to program staff with OVERSIGHT or ADMIN permissions in the enrolled cohort group. Conversation content is not shared with third parties and is not used for AI model training. Students are informed of capture at the point of extension installation and tracking handshake in Module 1.
